Jenn Ramirez Robson, Executive Director Jenn Ramirez Robson has served on the board of directors of New Futures since 2007. She brings a thorough understanding of the organization’s mission, programs to help children and families, and its donor base. Jenn has served on the board’s governance and development committees and as its vice president. Along with her commitment to New Futures’ mission, Jenn brings 20 years of management experience in the private sector and in local government. During her career, she has served as a management analyst for the city manager of Burien, as well as a policy advisor, legislative analyst, project manager and technology professional with the City of Seattle. Jenn’s professional achievements coupled with her deep-rooted, long-standing engagement within the Burien community will enable her to lead New Futures as it continues to support children and families in South King County to ensure that children succeed in school and in life. She was appointed as a commissioner to the Washington State Commission on Hispanic Affairs in 2012. Jenn also actively participates in the Highline Public Schools Equity Workgroup and with various youth groups. Previously, Jenn served on the Advisory Committee to Latinos for Community Transformation and participated on the Latino Community Fund Grant Committees. She is married with two children that attend Highline Public Schools and is an active member of the Burien community. |

Jim Tarte, Interim CFO Jim Tarte is our interim CFO starting in December 2011 and has over 20 years of experience in public, private and governmental accounting. At multiple entities, he has been responsible for the entire finance operation including day-to-day accounting, management reporting, forecasting, cash management and relationships with outside service providers including investment bankers, CPA firms and corporate counsel. Jim is a CPA (Inactive), and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration – Accounting from Seattle University.

Megan McJennett, Programs Director Megan’s experience working in child and youth development ranges from home visiting for Head Start, working with youth in the mountains of Guatemala and in Washington DC, to work on the national level on education issues and on the state level to improve early learning opportunities in Washington for our youngest residents. She lives in Seattle with her husband and two young children.
