In October of 2007, friends of New Futures came together for the 2nd B-Town Rally, an AMAZING road rally, dinner and awards party in Burien to benefit New Futures. Over 25 teams followed cryptic clues to fill their passport with stamps from locations all over Burien, including Burien Town Square, the Highline Athletic Club, our Arbor Heights site, and AAA Deli! By struggling to solve Sudoku and answering questions about New Futures programs, teams racked up extra points as they went! The hunt began and ended at Mick Kelly’s Irish Pub, who generously closed the pub for the event, and gave us a discount. There, teams enjoyed DINNER, a MINI AUCTION, and won PRIZES (including sashes and crowns decorated by the kids from our programs.)
