  • Selected for fifth consecutive year as Seattle Post-Intelligencer Readers Care Fund recipient.
  • New Futures was selected for Bank of America’s 2007 Neighborhood Builders Award, one of two non-profits selected for this $200,000 award in the Pacific Northwest.
  • New Futures was named Agency of the Year by the Washington State chapter of the National Association of Social Workers. New Futures won the award because it best exemplifies social work values in the field, in addition to promoting and upholding NASW standards and ethics.
  • Susana Schuarzberg, Finance Director, is named CFO of the Year (PDF) for the category of Small Nonprofit Organziation by Puget Sound Business Journal.
